This past weekend 8 women gathered with me to participate in a mini seasonal retreat to prepare for the arrival of summer & enter into this season more mindfully. Through gentle, restorative yoga; nature meditation and seasonal rituals we were able to create space for something new to emerge for each participant. As Sarah Avant Stover, says ” we are intimately linked to the cycles of nature”. Research has demonstrated that when women gather together and engage in pleasurable activities the body naturally releases feel good hormones. Bonding & pleasure along with learning how to relax are some of the most powerful healing modalities available to us.
Each season offers a deeper wisdom & rhythm that is always available to us but many of us are disconnected from this source.
